We headed to Langkawi for year-end holiday to usher the New Year 2009. Domestic holiday due to work commitments but to put it nicely, to support the Government's call for "Cuti-cuti Malaysia". As a result of hush-hush and rush-rush unplanned spur of the moment thingy the documentations for my puteri was left in the house and office respectively. Thought everyhting has been packed and in place. I thought wrong...
Just imagine. The idea of going for holiday popped out when we had our 'makan' at Mc Donald NKVE KL bound just before Damansara Exit. It was 24/12/2008. Called my travel agent to arrange for ticket and lodging. Managed to get both at premium. Holiday was lining up - Christmas and New Year etc.
I've learnt one thing. "Next Time, Plan Your Holiday", Stupid..
Apart from the air ticket - no other documentation. Not even Mc Donald or KFC Card. The counter didn't allow us to check for the boarding pass without documentation for my puteri and had the courage to ask me to go back and get the document from the house or office. Excuse me. We were at the counter at LCCT go back to SD and back. 'Insane'. Surely he was out of his mind. Think rationally la. Can or not?? Can we talk some sense here??
But after twisting some arms here and there and off course manipulating the system created by human, we managed to board the plane. They were not that "SMART" after all. Agreed?
Landed at Langkawi International Airport roughly around 1430hrs and went straight to Aseana Resort Pantai Chenang.
